Trust Your Gut: Virtual Sjogren's Summit is Back

3rd Annual Virtual Sjogren's Summit

Hosts: Dr. Wada and Cristina Montoya RD

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since our last webinar on Digestive Enzymes. My mom is back in Colombia, and it's time to reconnect with my community.

I have two wonderful news to share:

First, my Sjogren's Gut Event in July has expanded as I have joined forces with the amazing Dr. Wada, an immunologist and person living with Sjogren's.

The virtual event will run for two days on July 20 and 21, 2024, and it's free of charge. Our theme is:

Gut Instincts for Sjogren's: A Summit for Hope and Healing Beyond Symptoms.

We're honoured to have a wonderful lineup, including Dr. Diana Girnita, Rheumatologist On Call. More details coming soon.

Second, don't forget about the upcoming webinar on managing constipation in Sjogren's.

The webinar is happening on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11 AM EST. If you're receiving this newsletter, you're already registered 😊

Feel free to share the link with anyone who might be interested, as the strategies discussed may also be helpful for individuals living with other rheumatic diseases.

You will learn:

  1. Causes of constipation in Sjögren's
  2. Key diet and lifestyle strategies you can put into action to prevent and manage constipation
  3. When to seek further medical attention

Next steps:

  • You will receive five emails starting on June 10, 2024, with teasers to encourage a lively discussion during the session.
  • Submit your questions and suggestions for future topics here
  • If you can’t attend, no worries. You will receive a link to the recording 24-48 hours after the session.

I look forward to seeing you next week!

Much love,

Cristina Montoya RD

That what was part of my conversation with Andrea Hardy, RD, earlier this month about constipation, especially when you have an...
