Constipation Webinar postponed to June 15, 2024

Eating Well with Sjögren's and RA

Newsletter by Cristina Montoya RD

Hello Reader,

Happy belated Mother's Day! Don't we all deserve to be celebrated and honoured every single day? 🌺

Sadly, my mother is returning to Colombia after being in Canada for six months. She has been a beacon of hope despite the loss of my dad.

I'd love to spend more time with my mom this week and need to postpone the webinar on Managing Constipation in Sjogren's to June 15, 2024.

If you are already subscribed or registered for the Sogren's Gut Series Newsletter, you will receive further details about this webinar in June.

Recipe Controversy

Last week, I shared a Hibiscus Tea recipe on my website. The recipe is rich in antioxidants like anthocyanins and vitamin C. A few comments on my Instagram made me realize how pineapple could be a trigger food for people with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

Does that occur to you?

What are your trigger foods? I would love to dive into these intolerances in a blog post.

The Kitchen Cleanout Challenge was a success! Thanks for participating 😊

"Thanks so much, Cristina, for another great Challenge! I’ll probably keep doing them as long as you offer them. I get more excited about cooking and am inspired to use a greater variety of ingredients, especially the anti inflammatory ones. . My Rheumatoid Disease has improved very significantly over the past three years, and I truly believe that improving my diet is the main reason."

Welcome to Arthritis Dietitian Digest INSTAGRAM LINKEDIN YOUTUBE CHANNEL BLOG Hello Reader, Hope you aren't buried in snow. I haven't seen this much snow in the GTA (Ontario) since I immigrated to Canada 18 years ago ❄️❄️❄️. I often crave "comfort foods" during winter and flare ups, which means indulging in sugary and fatty snacks, especially from a Colombian store. That what was part of my conversation with Andrea Hardy, RD, earlier this month about constipation, especially when you have an...
